| "Email Set" records allow you specify the emails that will be sent to you on a periodic basis. The MyCCNews system includes several "sets"
that you can use to copy to create your own customized specification.
specifications
- Click the "View" link to see the specifications for the email
- Click the "Display" link to view the email contents that would be sent with articles added as in the last day or so
- If you are logged in:
- Click the "Edit" link to make changes to your specifications
- Click the "Copy" link to use the corresponding "set" as a template for a new "set"
- Click the "Rename" link to give the "set" another name
- Click the "Delete" link to delete "set" (you will be asked to confirm the delete)
- Click the "New" button to create new email specification
- Email Specifications:
- Selection Criteria - be sure to select an item from the pulldown list if you want to only include articles related to climate change
- Max Summary Length - specifies the maximum number of characters in the Article Summary to include in the email (the maximum value is 2000)
- Max Article Date Age - articles other than for the current day or so are often added. This allows you to specify how "new" these articles must be to be included in the email
- Order By - the default is "Title"
